Precision water delivery systems designed around your property, your plants, and the real rainfall patterns of the Puget Sound region.
What We Offer
Whidbey Island Landscaping has been designing and installing irrigation systems since 1989. We work with residential properties, commercial sites, and HOA common areas throughout Whidbey Island and the Anacortes region. Every system we install is engineered to match your soil type, plant palette, sun exposure, and seasonal precipitation — not copied from a template.
We assess your property's water pressure, soil conditions, plant zones, and sun exposure before designing a system. No guesswork — every zone is sized and scheduled for what's actually growing there.
Our installation crews work cleanly and efficiently, minimizing lawn disruption. All lines are properly sleeved under hardscape, all heads are set to grade, and every system is pressure-tested before we leave.
We install and configure smart irrigation controllers (including Rachio and Hunter Hydrawise) that connect to local weather data and automatically adjust run times based on actual conditions.
Annual maintenance plans include spring startup, seasonal adjustments, backflow testing, head inspection, and winterization. One call handles the full year.
System Capabilities
How It Works
Doug or a senior technician walks your property to assess water pressure, soil type, existing plantings, and coverage needs.
We produce a zone-by-zone irrigation plan showing head placement, pipe routing, and controller programming.
Our crew installs all components — main line, laterals, heads, valves, and controller.
We program and test the full system with you present, walk you through the controller interface.
Annual maintenance clients receive spring startup, mid-season head check, and fall winterization.
